background info

I created her when I was 10 years old, as a counterpart to my sister's fursona, Scarlet.
I originally intended her to be nine years older than me, so she was 19 at the time of her creation. her birthday is the same as mine, and she ages the same way I do in real life, just 9 years older.
that is subject to change, however, because as i've gotten older, I don't have a reason to make my fursona any older than me. as a kid, I made her older than myself because I wanted to play a character that with more freedom, a job, etc... etc
since that's basically how I will be soon, there is no reason to keep Violet 9 years older than me.
she is technically ! but nowadays I just view her age as ambiguous.
over the years, she has become more of her own character and identity, and less of a self insert. I still use her to represent myself, but she has become a bit seperated from me. she's still my fav character i've ever made tho.
I draw her in a tomboyish, lazy, mischievious way. She's often seen with big sharp teeth. She usually wears simple clothing, such as a black tanktop and black shorts. she is not confined to one specific outfit, though.
In the past, her signurature outfit was a yellow turtleneck with white shorts. She also used to have yellow eyes, yellow paw pads, and the inside of her ears were yellow. I changed that, because I found yellow to be a very limiting color that doesn't have much versatility. Her being mostly only purple leaves a lot of room for different color vibes, she can now be warm toned or cool toned. While the purple and yellow combination is good, combining a color that is pretty much always warm toned and a color that is in between that makes it harder to make pieces of the character with diverse color themes. if that makes sense.
